Genotyping Services

1) Contract development of simple sequence repeats (SSR's). Our service provides two different options:

• Development of a specified number of markers that are amplifiable and polymorphic.
• Development of potential markers that are not yet tested. This means we would provide (for example) sequence information for 100 (CA)n loci, and you would do the primer design and testing of the sequence information, to determine which of these loci are polymorphic.

2) Development or analysis of Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs). We use PCR/single dideoxynucleotide extension to analyze SNPs. We can either:

• Genotype known SNPs.
• Develop and test novel SNPs.
