Sequencing Services We use dye terminator sequencing chemistry with ABI DNA sequencing platforms for sequencing your samples. With appropriately prepared templates, 700-800 bp reads at up to 98% accuracy can be expected. All samples are sequenced to at least 1000 bp and PGEM controls are run for quality control. We do not manually edit the sequence data we send to you, so it is important that you view the chromatograms to verify the accuracy of the sequence data. Check our FAQS page for information and links relevant to interpreting the chromatograms. Our goal is to help with your sequencing project by providing reasonably priced, high quality service. Each set of sequencing reactions includes at least one positive control reaction. We will repeat samples that failed upon request. If the sample fails again, you will be charged an additional fee of $3.00 for that sample. If the sample works the second time it is sequenced, then there will be no additional charge for re-sequencing that sample. However, if you feel that our error led to a less than optimal sequencing run, please let us know, and we will resolve the problem to your satisfaction. If this is your first time submitting samples, contact us, so we can provide you with assistance if your sequencing reads were not as good as you expected. |
